Fuel Pressure Tester Gauge CIS

I found this today.

Diagnostic & Testing Tools - Tool Aid 33865 C.I.S. K-Jetronic Fuel Injection Tester with Case

does this look like what I should be buying to finally get around to checking out the CIS issues?

or are there other choices that I should be considering, too?

Yes, that looks correct. The part I wish I bought first was the book on "Solving Bosch Continuous Injection System (CIS) Problems", by James Weber. There may be better books, but this one made it all make sense. I bought the book after a weekend of making several mistakes. No big mistakes, just wish I had read more before working on my 930.

I have that exact set up and it is excellent, though there are others out there that will perform just as well.

Scot,

That's a nice looking fuel injection pressure gauge kit. My pressure gauge set is more than 15 years old and the cheapy model from JC Whitney. But it does the job well. Probably time to get a new set or maybe not yet. Keep us posted and share the performance of this new set. Thanks.

Tony
