A switching O2 sensor in closed loop control will always give you stoich conditions. For 100% gas that would be a AFR of 14.7 and for E10 that would be AFR of 14.2.

If I take a 3.2 with factory chip meant for 100% gas it will run 3% lean in open loop with E10. The closed loop control will richen the mixture by 3%. If you have changed the calibration to compensate for E10. You can connect the O2 sensor and it will fine tune for the correct AFR of 14.2.

Yes I get it, lambda 1.0 is lambda 1.0 this is yet another good reason to use lambda scale rather than AFR. Your point simply is that the O2 sensor looks for lambda 1.0 and not AFR it just happens that E10 labmda 1.0 = 14.2AFR and gasoline Lambda 1.0 = 14.7AFR

porsche question
 
hi.. i have a 79 porsche 911 sc cp with no catalytic converter i bought it like that. it now has a very strong exhaust smell coming from the tail pipe. im also wondering if its running to rich are that just the way it smells when the cat is remove please help me thanks for you help.

Normally when the mixture is not correct they will idle poorly. You might want to start by having the mixture tested and adjusted. If you want to do any work you should get a CIS fuel pressure tester.
