Targa chrome trim questions

Hi foks, Merry Christmas

Is the chrome trim around the bottom of a 72 Targa back window the same as all Targa's?

Mine is missing, what holds it in place?

Is the front window seal trim the same in all models?

Thanks,

Hi Wade,

Use the on-line Porsche parts catalogs to cross reference the parts you are looking for. The seals and trim are in the body section once you open the PDF files.

The rear Targa trim is held in by the rubber seal that circles the rear window. I don't think you can install it without taking the window out but I am not sure.

I know this doesn't really answer your question and is sort of an educated guess at the answer but the targa trim on 1975-89 fits my 1974. I think 1964-68 were the Short Wheel Base (SWB) cars so they may pose a problem with trim. 1969 on I believe will fit your 72.
