Need wiring help 1969 911t 2.0

Hi

Attache are three pics with some loose ends. If someone can look at the pics and letme know what is missing I would appreciate it forever.

1. Wiring pic, Something plugs into the right socket and i assume it has something to do with the Oil tem and pressure connectors on the engine, there is also a loose brown and white wire?? Is there a part missing ??

2. Regulator pic the D+ lead has a red wire that plugs in and a blue lead that need a home??

3. Thick blue (looks green in pic) wire comes from the fuse to a weco connector and then nowhere , about 2 feet long

Any help is appreciated

Some info

This is an early '69 t that did not have a CDI box, the harness may have unused stuff not sure

thnks for any leads /help

jim

Alternator

It's a motorola, looks rebuilt, but there was no sign of a voltage regulator when I got the car.

Hi Jim,
Using my wife's '69 911T as reference...

Yes, you are missing the connector on the right hand side... 4 wires should be coming out of it
1. Oil pressure (green/red)
2. Oil temp (green/black)
3. That blue wire in your 2nd pic coming out of the regulator, which connects up to the large instrument cluster as the alternator indicator light)
4. Tach (black/purple), that connects to the ignition coil or CD

The brown/white is a no-connect... I can't recall what it's for, but I remember researching and figuring out it's correct to be a no-connect.

Don't know about that last thicker blue wire from your 3rd pic.

Hope this helps.
Pat

Thanks so much

Thanks so much for the reply pcbudden

Does anyone have an idea of the part number for the missing part? or better yet does anyone have a used one ?

Another question,

Can the Bosch voltage regulator be used with the Motorola Alternator?

Time to kill, it's a blizzard out there...

Jim
