Drive shafts are out - OK to move car?

I have the engine, trans, and driveshafts out of my 911 at the moment.

Is it OK to bolt the rear wheels to the hubs, put the car back on the ground, and push it around the garage? Or do the rear wheel bearings require the CV joints to be bolted in place to avoid coming apart?

(I know Audi is very specific about not doing this, not sure about Porsche - didn't find anything in the manual.)

Thanks for the help.

If the stub axles are still in, perfectly fine.

If not....don't go to far. Your bearings will be destroyed.

Got it - stub axles in the hubs to move the car. Thanks!
