Got Brown Sugar out from winter hibernation, Outlaw 911S :)

Well over the winter I made a few changes to "Brown Sugar" Bitter Chocolate 1976 911S Matching numbers built to 2.8. Its a do it all type of car. I joke that it can club race, cars and coffee and drop the kids off at school. Well one kid at least I really like that its a mid year "runt" that hauls ass. Car is very clean with only 57k original miles.

Engine is built to 2.8 ,PMO carbs, Turbo Brakes ,Leda 2 way Coilovers, Smart racing everything! Etc etc. It was great to get it out yesterday and stretch its legs.

Great looking color! Of course, I'm partial to brown '76 911S's...

What is the point of a fuel cell?
Are they less likely to crack in a crash?

yes extra protection as they also have a bladder inside.

My next step will be wheels, looking at adding minilites to the equation.
Hoping to fit 15x9's I do have a set of 15x9 Fuchs that could find there way on there.
Might have to do a test fit this weekend!

any threads on the 2.8 build? I was going to start gathering parts for mine. Or decide on a 3.0, or 3.2 core to build then I can drive at the same time. Minilites are going to be amazing. I would Just do the back and do 'em gold - then do the front gold fuchs. Brown with gold wheels is killer.

Thanks Duane, no build thread on the engine, JE's, headwork
and GE60's if memory serves me correctly. Gold minis would be sweet, I have them on the shelf just need to paint them

That car is sweet!
What are the offsets on the minilite 15x9's? I have 16x9 minilites with a +4 offset and they fit great.
Here's a bad pic but you get the idea.

Always evolving '74 no matching #'s anywhere, when pic was taken it had a '76 carrera 3.0 motor, that was removed for another project and a 3.2 is going in soon. The rest is relatively basic, 23/31 torsion bars, carrera brakes, stripped interior, full cage, short gear 915 with rennshifter.

looks like a lot of fun.
sometimes I wish I had something like that instead of the 930.

a friend has a 70 he did that with.
no interior and a 3.0 with CIS.
bare bones car
