72 Coupe headliner question

I am building an RS tribute type car out of a 72 sunroof coupe. I will not be using the sunroof and affixing it in place. I will remove all items from the sunroof not needed, cables, moters etc. Will I still need a sunroof headliner, or will a non sunroof headliner work? Thanks...

As far as I know, the only difference between the two headliners is the one for a sunroof has a separate piece to attach over the sunroof panel interior. You do not use bows in the sunroof headliner as the headliner is stretched/glued over the bottom of the sunroof pan, which should have padding glued to it. If you are sealing up the sunroof, I believe you could go ahead and use a regular headliner, though I personally have not done that job.
