Fog light fuse wires
I have a 1983 Euro SC. My fog light switch works since it does light up when its pulled out, but I have no working fogs. I used my multimeter and received no indication of power going to the Foglight housings. The bulbs are good too. So I decided to start looking for a reason why my fogs dont work and noticed that the top wire on the fuse belonging to the fogs is not connected to a source or wire. It has power due to the sparks that came from the wire as I was looking for a loose connection or something. Well I found fit alright. Where should the HOT wire on the top of the fuse, go to? The relay? The switch?

on US models the fogs are only supposed to work when the low beam headlights are on. Look at the wiring diagrams on the host's website. You don't even say what year you have.

Here's a pic for our '86 which, may not be the same as your model/year My bet is on the relay. Good luck, Gerry http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1294015510.jpg |
Thanks that helps. I have a 1983 Euro SC. Now I gotta figure out what terminal on the relay the wire goes to.

Also, the fog light controls vary from country to country. As stated above, in the U.S., the foglights only work with the headlights in low beams. Good luck, Gerry Manuals |
Thanks! I got it all figured out and got my Fogs working. Unfortunately I'm a victim of fancy wiring that is going to be a mystery in it self. Now I gotta figure out another small electrical problem, but I'll start another thread regarding that issue.
