Driver mirror vs deer, knocked off, wheres change over switch
First two deer got by, hit the 3rd with driver mirror. Ripped driver rear mirror off and stripped wires out of the harness. Reconnected all that match but have one black wire from the mirror has no match. Schematic says it goes to the change over switch. Anyone know where it is located. Appreciate any help. Yes it hit my rear fender also, but was very lucky. Last time hit it up front through the windshield..

Thanks Pete. I understand how it works. I am trying to resplice the black wire coming from the mirror inside the drivers door to its proper location. Think it goes to the change over control switch which is an electronic part inside door or trunk. Not one of the switches above according to my body shop. The left/right and the toggle adj switch are both functioning. I am only getting motor on with one of four positions from switch on the left side, all four directions working fine on the passenger side.
