This weekend when I adjusted my clutch, I had to tighten the cable at the clevis (at the pedal end of the cable) to allow for the correct adjustment at the transmission. I noticed a small lever close to the clevis that I think is activated when clutch pedal is all the way up. Any ideas what its function was (it took some damage in the process).

it's to shut off the cruise when the pedal is depressed.
