freeing up shafts on Weber carbs
I have a pair of Weber IDS carbs I pulled off the 71 targa parts car I bought last summer. The car had been sitting for years and the motor and the carbs are froze up. Any tips on freeing up the shafts on the carbs. One actually does move, but the other is tight. Ive been soaking them in mystery oil, sprayed PB blaster, ect. Still won't budge.
Any idea's.

Kano Labs - Kroil
Available in liquid or aerosol. Buy the liquid and pour into a shallow pan. Set the bottom of the carb in the pan and let is soak for a few days. If they can't budge then, they are certainly junk! Are the throttle blades stuck in the bore or the shafts stuck? Or can you tell? Either way, soak the think in Kroil. It is the best stuff I've ever used by far. You're probably into a re-bush of the shafts and perhaps more work after that if jet holders, etc. don't come out easily.
