Question Do I Need to Put on More Weight?

- you know, those two big 'friggen weights in the front bumper of my '67S. Or if left out, am I increasing my odds of disastrous roadway pirouettes?

Real fun when you dismount the front bumper and it k.o.'s you with those heavy weights!
We removed them from most of the cars in past years. Those cars being equipped with 6 x 15 alloys and stickier tires , they don't have problems compared to the original "band aid to handling" concept of the weights. We've driven the swb cars with and without weights and couldn't find a real difference in normal enthusiastic driving. btw- Porsche did go to the dual batteries in future years as their later fix.
