Please Help .... Paint Code ??

Guys

does anyone have a paint code for the wurth satin black paint used on fuchs? I have contacted wurth u.k. and they say it could be one of several ......

I would be grateful of any help .....

daz911--
don't have a paint code, but try these guys - they are VERY helpful. I think you can email them and ask. I have some of the wurth spray cans at home. I can check tonight and see if there is a paint code on it.

Wurth Paint

The latest Wurth catalog says that their "gloss black lacquer" is the match for OEM 911 wheels. That part number is: 892184.
Some other black paints they offer are "matt black lacquer", #892183, and "satin black trim paint", #8930190.

Just had my wheels painted, they look black. Dont know if its Wurth, I probably wouldnt see the difference. What do you think it would be(seriously)?

Eric - thanks for the codes - wurth have stopped the gloss 892184, they now have a satin gloss black laquer - 0893 349 110
I have ordered a can - i will post the results

Thanks

Anyone remember or have pictures of what fuchs looked like off the showroom. The guys at car care specialties swore that it was the matt lacquer, but eric's wurth research seems to indicate a higher level of gloss.
I'm sure its a lacquer, due to the higher heat of wheels/brakes - now its just a question of gloss.

Could it be possible that Porsche changed the wheel paint at some point? It just seems that the older Fuchs I have seen do have more of a matte color, and the newer (late 80's) ones seem to have a bit more shine. I always thought it was because the older ones I saw were oxidized or worn, but now it's got me wondering.
