82SC CIS no start
 

My SC is all original, I took the fuel injection system off a couple of months ago to replace the intake runner boots and ensure all the hoses were tight with no air leaks. I also tested the fuel pressure only a couple of weeks ago and it looked good. The car has been running great! This morning it was about 50 degrees in the garage, so not very cold. I cranked it and it acted like it was going to start but didn't. I cranked it quite a few more times and the starter cranked very strong, but no start. I went to work in the other vehicle. When I returned this evening it cranks but doesn't start. There appears to be a nice big spark when I checked the wire coming off the coil. The cap and rotor are in good shape. I've raised the sensor plate to run the fuel, so now I'm afraid I've flooded the cylinders? When i crank it, however it doesn't smell very gassy. I'll check the fuel pressure again. What's the deal? Suggestions? Thanks!

when you lifted the sensor plate, you heard the "Whining" noise of the injectors? if not, you may have not done anything.

yank off the red fuel pump relay and swap in the neighboring black one for a simple test..

i also like to check spark at the plugs. good luck.
