Door handel

I Brooke the trigger on the driver side. So now I have second hand
one but the lock part is not the same. my old lock fits in ok but and works
but when I fited it it would not work on locking. So what I m going to
do is use the old handel and use the new triger, but I can't get the bolt thing
out of the new handel. I have tryed vice grips but it will not undo.
any help would be handy.
Thanks Steve.

These plastic handles break. You can buy the right handle to replace it from our host for about $25. Mine broke. I solved the problem with a pull strap. I'll soon replace the stock panels with RS panels which have a proper strap to pull. If you want stock, buy the correct part.

I replaced the same door handle trigger and don't remember any difficulty just popping the trigger out.
A picture would help.

just use the trigger from the replacement handle in your old handle.
