TDC Sensor NLA? 911 606 108 00
 

I've got the engine out and want to replace the TDC sensor as a preventative measure.

Our host's site shows the genuine Porsche part as NLA with no cross reference

Anybody else run into this? If so, does another source exist?

Search is your friend. There are several threads, and I believe there is a BMW part #, available at lower cost and from our host.

I did some extra investigation (about three seconds) and found this sensor has no affect on the car's functionality. It is used for tuning and connects to the port directly under the IAC. That said, I'm not going to bother with it.

I hope this thread helps others in the future determine if replacement is worth it.

My mistake - thought you were talking about the flywheel sensors.
