Question Anyone here with a Supercharged 911SC?

I am looking at getting more HP out of my 81 SC, and I am wondering if anyone here has put a supercharger on there SC. If I had not just done a full rebuild on the stock 3.0 motor last year, I would do a engine swap. So, with that said, I think the Supercharger is the way to go, but I have not seen one installed, and I don't know anyone that has done this upgrade. Is it worth the money? Is it reliable? Is it alot quicker with the Supercharger? What type of system did you use? ETC????

Please see this thread, same topic.....

By the way (not to sound snooty...) the search engine should be used first, then if you can't find info on the topic, then ask away...

Randy, Thanks for the thread, it was somewhat informative. I have read some info that Paul Weir sent me, and I have heard things about the install. My local shop here wants to start doing installs, and will do the first two or three cars for $5000, parts and labor (SOK Paxton). I really like the picture of your twin superchargers. Do you have a web page that I could look at to get all the info on your installation?

P.S. I did a search first, but the only result that came close, was a thread about a 3.2 install.

Well, I wish the twin was mine, I just snaped the picture....

I will see if I can find out anything for you.

There are installers out there now, have some links, I will dig them up.

Paul, I decided to do one myself. You can take a look at my website and might get some ideas.
