Do I need that o2 sensor
 

Noticed something the other day...

My '82 EURO (CIS) does not have an o2 sensor. It looks like a PO removed it. There's a spot for it in the fake cat, but no sensor, just a plug. Car runs good. Hunts a bit at cold idle, but I'm told this comes with the territory.

The Euro spec 911s of that year didn't have an 02 sensor. The PO probably replaced the cat with an aftermarket version that has the bung.
