Fuel pump relays? R they suppose to click?

Hey all, I have been noticing that the red fuel pump relays have been a little noiser than usual. Is this the norm or do I have a fuel pump or relay problem? This is on a 1986 930 Turbo

They should click only when you turn the engine on and off. Otherwise they shouldn't make noise.

It could be either, or corrosion somewhere in your wiring. It never hurts to have a spare fuel pump relay. Start with the cheap stuff.

Thanks very much, I have already replace the fuse block because of "heat" I will replace the relay this weekend to see if it takes care of it.

Thanks for the advice,
