Pulled my muff and cat off to do some maintenance

My muff and cat have been on the 3.6 for more than 6 years now. Was looking a little ragged, so yanked the rear bumper and proceeded to remove the custom system I had built.

The O2 sensor took a LOT of heat and PB blaster to crack loose. Ordered a new three wire to replace it. Cheap, 20 bucks delivered for a Bosch.

Wire brushed it all, cleaned all the mated surfaces, ordered up the new gaskets, found no leaks.....

While screwing around with wiring and other stuff, I looked up on the wall at a Sport Muff that's been hanging around awhile.

I put it up aginst the 993 HEs. It's way off not only is the exits on the HEs to close together but they face each other.....but a good muffler guy can get it to fit. I would also need a bung for the O2 sensor.

Any ideas on modifications to the muff, is it too restrictive or should I just button it up and run the single out and cat?
