Jack Pad bar- is it just 7/8" key stock?
I want to try and rig up something to support my car, having slightly longer length than the regular jack pads, and a different flat surface. Does anyone know the exact dimensions of the pad rod?
Thanks SoS

Have you just tried turning the pad upside-down and jacking on the bar, not the plate?
I do, it fits the fixture cup on the top of my jack perfectly; it isn't the big flat plate surface that could slide off the jack if there's a lateral load. |

I would also like to know what size the bar is (without going out in the -20 garage and pulling the plug out of the side of my car)

..it's EXACTLY 1/32" under 7/8" square. Makes it fit in the hole in the summertime, I reckon.
