You can do this without a movie.

Remove the windshield.

Remove the dash by taking time to find all of the fasteners. You get at most of them from the front boot. You will need some long socket extensions.

Pelican has the leather recover kit. It is $450 US.

If you use the search / advanced search function you can search on "windshield removal" and "dash removal" for finding more information.

I would be careful when making your decision to replace the leather. It is expensive and it is very thin. You can easily make a mistake. Your vents holes are probably curled. You need to reshape them and support them. It is a big job.

Consider buying a new vinyl dash and install that yourself. They look pretty nice.

I thought Bob was quite helpful... With your reply, "no one tells me anything" your wish might come true!

Agreed, Bob laid it all out for you. The only addition is that you might want to remove the steering wheel and gauges for easier access.

Do you want someone to come over and do it for you?

Cheers,

Chuck
