RUF Gearbox Casing Identification
On a whim I've bought what is described as a RUF 915 gearbox bell housing but to me it looks more like a gearbox center section.
There is a RUF logo and part number R50.301.102.00 cast into the part and a stamped number 47/?? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1296511324.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1296511348.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1296511374.jpg Can anyone shed any light on what it is and what car it would have been used on. If it's of use to anyone I'm open to offers but you would need to factor in courier costs from the UK. |
That's a weird looking thing. I've never seen anything like it.
This is the nose cone of their conversion kit to make a 930 gearbox 5 speed. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1296512148.jpg |
It appears to be a G50 application, not 915. The "R50" number implies that as well. Compare it to the image of a G50 midcase, below...
