Membership card?? We don't have no stinkin' membership cards!

I just got an e-mail from a Rennlister (??), asking about "joining" the SCWDP. He says: "...and what does the SCWDP membership card look like?...."

We don't carry cards, dude.
Whad'ya think... we're a bunch of commies?

Now, just order some stickers and.....
Keep the SCWDP faith!

Doug,
I've been sent email more than once, requesting info on how to join the SCWDP. I explain the general exclusivity of the SCWDP and basic member qualifications. I also point them to the website. I think "we" need to include a membership qualifications link. A single set of standards needs to be set to avoid confliciting information. I am sure others have received similar questions and I would hate for an imposter to poison the well. Just a thought.

I received my stickers a couple days ago. I must compliment you on the great job. Truely SC quality.

Keeping the faith in So. Cal. I'm goin' for a drive now!!!

Oh no Doug... I can just see the steam coming out of your ears now...

Actually, if you guys remind me... at work (back home) we have that program which allows tyou to make business cards and tons of the perforated card paper. I made a stack of
"Leland Pate"
"BOMB SQUAD TECH."
"hero for hire"
cards... people get a kick out of them...
I could make up some cards for the SCWDPs top Brass...

Oh and by the way, it looks like Emmanuel and Janus ar working together on the website. I'm just getting CC emails so I have no clue what is going on...but it's interesting. I can't post details here...security concerns you know.
With your permission, they will put a link to the "Sticker sales page".

This is going to be so Kewl!!!

Oh, and another thing, in case you didn't get the memo...all electronic transmittal regarding WDP affairs, must end with a suitable "Muhahahahahahaha".

Thank you, Paul!
I've had many nice comments e-mailed to me from sticker recipients. This is a lot of fun. Still more stickers being sent out in Mondays post.

I drive my "membership card". No additional credentials seem necessary!

That's it Doug; he didn't ask " what does the SCWDP membership card look like?...."
He asked "and what does the SCWDP membership CAR look like?...."

. . .although I'm not sure which is worse

Note to C.S. Herman/ hermzz911:

Nice to see another Pacific Blue Metallic
car amongst the SCWDP membership.

The color was only available for 2 years, and it's a pretty rare occurance when you see a "sister". Many people confuse this color with other Porsche blue metallics. *Very* different.

Have you seen what happens to this color at night, parked under a Mercury Vapor streetlight? It will blow your mind!!

Doug -

Yours is the only other Pacific Blue Metallic I've seen. I agree, an awesome color that takes on a new character with different lighting. Once sping hits I'm going in search of a Mercury Vapor streetlight. I picked mine up about 9 months ago in Atlanta, from a guy that had it for 13 years. It's probably a little too stock, didn't have pop-off or tensioner upgrades.

Count me in as another Nordic SCWDP member!

Craig
