A Racing School in Florida?

Hello All, i would like to check out something like this ...seesm like a good wayh to get a taste of the track...I have driven sports cars and Ps for 30 years but have no track exp. probably one of those 2-3 day things. Does not have to be Porsche-centric but would be nice. Fla would be nice as I can park the kids and wife at Disney for the duration. As always, any advice form this fantastic forum would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Frank

Find a track you're interested in and look at their calendar published on their website. It'll often let you know which organizations are using the track on which dates. Then you can contact that organization (whether it's PCA, NASA, Skip Barber, etc) on signing up/joining.

Skip Barber has a school at Sebring (couple hours south of Orlando). There is also a rally school somewhere in Northern Florida. The "official" school is at Barber.

Frank, there is Palm Beach International. They host everything from funny cars to only Porsche days, the track has a drage strip and a winding curving test track. Check them on line, I believe there is going to be a Porsche only weekend in March!

I did 1-800 - be petty at the Disney track. Skip Barbour and Panoz both have schools at Sebring

Palm Beach International Raceway - Daytona Raceway - Homassasa -

lots of options (and prices)

Jeremy, This is no more Panoz School - Skip Barber bought them out almost 3 years ago.

I work for Skip Barber, they have schools @ Sebring & are starting to go back to Palm Beach (Moroso), also at Road Atlanta

There is a Rally School up in Northern Florida near Starke

Thanks TC - my bad... the only reason I mentioned that was because of the Panoz parked in the lobby at the Chateau at Sebring that had the racing school on it (and I walked by it probably ten times this past weekend)
