switching sides of spring plates
I am using some new to me, used, adjustable spring plates that have seemingly serviceable bushings. If I am going to "switch the spring plates" , rather than replace the bushings, I assume that the thicker part of the inside bushing goes up?
Thanks |

If I understand you correctly, you have worn spring plate bushings. Instead of replacing, you want to swap them to the opposite side of the car? Seriously?
Bushings are relatively cheap. The worse part of the job is pulling the spring plates off the car, reinstalling, setting ride height and aligning. You are doing all that anyway. Why not take another 1/2 hour and install new bushings?
