Do like minus the wheel choice. If the spokes were thicker and no red lip it would be even better.

Porsche built a number of wide body 964s with no turbo motors. They were so close in price to the 965 turbo, so not many were sold.
An option on the narrow and wide body car was a 3.8 liter kit for the standard 3.6
So nothing really special other than the front spoiler, wheels externally

This car was basically resto-modded from body panels up. It was nicely done by AP Design. The build is documented on their site, Project 06/2008 (AP Car Design - Ihr Porsche-Tuning-Partner in der Mitte von Deutschland). Overpriced as auctioned, IMO, but still an impressive machine. For $115K, I would be looking at so many other cars besides this one.

i LOVE the wheels!

yeah, AP has some really cool cars.. Still, the widebody doesnt look right without the turbo tail.

The bumpers look fat and heavy like a woman with way too many collagen injections. Never liked how the bumpers overwhelmed the styling of the basic 911 shape - but the mechanicals on the 964 are great.

You asked...

Nothing special according to AP car design standards. Looks cool, but a lot of their cars do, this is by no means the coolest they have done.

Price is too much.

You could find a 1994 C4 as they were all factory widebodies, and go from there. There is a 94 C4 for sale in Hawaii for $25k and it has been for sale for a couple years.

There was also the 30th anniversary edition that was based on the turbo body without the rear wing, Not sold in the US though.

I have seen this car several times, it is very impressive. Though I have NO idea what it is worth the quality of the work is outstanding.
Lots of upgrades and the underside is so clean I would have to wash my hands before I could touch it.
Nicest 964 I ever saw by a bunch

It has been known to travel back and forth from Fla to Germany,

Don't like the red-line rims.....don't like the stock heavy-looking side vew mirrors.... don't like the sunroof, as in Europe, you at least have a choice compared to what you find in USA....don't "see" this car as "especially" hot....just a nice conversion.....much too expensive for a 964.

$115K.... is "kinda" pricey ...?????

Counterpoint----> how does this compare at $39k?, about 1/3 price?---> 1995 Porsche 993 C2 widebody RSR clone - street / track / show car - Seattle - $39k

Good luck on whoever purchases this car. Although it looks ok (IMHO), its nothing special from a cosmetic perspective other than a turbo look without a wing and some custom wheels... So, you can buy a real 965 turbo all day long for $40K, and spend a little to make it look like this, and still have enough to buy an older Ferrari, Rolls, Bentley, Aston, or whatever strikes your fancy? I mean really, someone is going to pony up anything more than an actual 1994 3.6 turbo mint? Which, by the way, several can be obtained for $75K all day long - and that's on the high end. All I can do is wish the potential new owner luck, and I'll be sure to let them know if they're driving it around my neck of the woods here in So. Fla., that my car can give that one a headstart and still woop him good, without wasting the $115K...

The stock C4 widebody looks great. Painting the lower side skirt and front lip make the car looks FAT. Don't know why people do this though.

Without the painted lip and lower skirt, the car looks 36-24-36. With it, the car looks 38-38-36. Sorry....don't have a better example.

Nice clean look for a 964/965. Would have chosen different wheels, the redline is a little to ricer for my taste ymmv
Nice color too, works very well with the smooth body lines/shape

shaved seams like the RUF would ad to the overall effect IMO, I wonder why more builders don't do that mod...

Thats a standard 1994 C4. Porsche had extra 965 shells at the end of the ren so they built them as wide body C4's and sold them in the US. I have bought a few of them over the last few years in the high 20's and low 30's.

If you wanted to put on that extra chin spoiler they would look just like that one. I assume the price is a joke, and the car is not really for sale. I dont think there are any buyers at that price.

Oh and the white one above is the badest 964 on the planet, I remember reading about the build and its awesome.
