Second yelcab, PH has a good rep, not an easy thing in that biz, so take it from there.

I too have had excellent luck with PH. They really pulled me out of a jam on an injector line with my SC.

I bought a rebuilt 915 tranny from them in '95. I have put 35 kmi on it since with no problems. As I recall, it cost $1800 back then. However, my core was not rebuildable. The shafts were bent and the some of the gear sets were destroyed. It was not pretty.

what year of 901 are you looking for? I have a PartsHeaven rebuilt 901 from a 1968 which has about 500 miles on it, I would gladly sell it for less than PH will sell you one.
BTW the reason I am not using it, was after completing my 1968 project and testing it twice on the race track, I concluded I needed more power, so I now have converted the chassis over to a LWB and run a 3.2l and 915 Jim |

Bob, I can't help you out with anything related to a PH transmission, but I live 1000 miles from PartsHeaven and will swear by them, and especially Al. First class guy, and firm, all the way.

Parts Heaven
I am from the Bay Area, If it wasn't for Al and the Boys, Rob, Big Jeff and the rest of the crew. I would not have been able to restore my Black Beauty. These guys will do just about anything to assure you do it right with out reamming you. They definately stand behind their parts, engines and tranny's. They have a tip top reputation for their honesty and are very reasonably priced.
