Gas tank restoration
I removed my tank and I would like to know what I should request from the radiator repair shop, clean and seal with what type or system?

What year and type is the tank? If it is cis with swirl pot it can't be coated.

It is a 1970T, I see that I can purchase a POR 15 kit but I would like to have someone else deal with the chemicals and mess. I am not having any luck locating a shop around lower Westchester NY, any help in CT, NJ, NY would be appreciated.

you are smart to let somebody else do it - can you check with PCA?
you can also try your query on the Early 911S bbs there are also a fair # of people in NY on here - including Bill V. who is near Albany, so someone should know of a shop that does good work |
