Is my car haunted?

Can you say Christine? Its a beautiful day so I decided to take my 930 for a drive and some pictures. I stopped to take the first batch and noticed the engine lid had some how opened. I though maybe I did not close it right. I slammed it shut and took some pictures. 5 miles down the road I stopped again for some more and now both the trunk and engine lid were open??? Now I stopped a few miles later because I was paranoid the engine lid was open again! I closed then opened then slammed shut both lids forcefully. No more problems on the 15 mile drive home. I have had the car about 4 months and never had this happened. I have had my Targa for almost 4 years and never had this happened either. I did a search and saw that I am the minority, most people had the opposite problem with stuck lids. Has this happened to anyone else?

Probably should have bought a Targa.....those coupes have too much flex....

Or not...

Thanks Joe, the lube and pushing back in makes sense.

Mike I still have both cars, the Targa flexes plenty. You really notice it when you jack up the cars. The doors on the coupe operate smoothly when the car has a side jacked up. The Targa doors rub.

I guess I can call off the exorcism!

Thanks
