86 Carrera electric seat back motor location?

Trying to find the motor that operates the seat back tilt. Mine is not working and need to pull it out. Looks like it might be in the seat back but how much do I need to take apart to get to it? I already jumped direct voltage to the wires so its not the switch.

Thanks

All motors are under the seat. Sometimes the cable jumps out of the track where the motor drive is.

Also don't be so quick to think motors are bad. Check. It is more likely the switches. Even here...... a good cleaning of the contacts usually works.

Here are the two motors under the seat. One controls the front of the seat up and down and the other does the up and down for the back of the seat bottom. The second picture shows wires going into the seat back but I need to know how far up in the seat back the motor is? I wired this direct and got nothing so assume the switch is ok. it checks ok with the meter too.

Well I found it! Right behind your head. The motor works and my meter shows there is a break in one wire. Well I guess since its apart this far I might just as well order new seat covers from Tony!
