Help to Polish Chrome Rims for H4s

What is your best method and polishing compound to bring back the nice chrome finish/shine.
I just received this set of H4s from a fellow pelican - they look great, but need work on the chrome.
Any tips will help.

Try some "Never Dull".
It doesn't last long, but it does dress the chrome up for a while.
Think of it like a short lived miracle....

If it's not etched or scratched past the chrome into the base metal, a polishing wheel with jeweler rouge would be my choice.

Try 'chrome polish', just don't rub too hard. Did wonders for my old Karmann Ghia bumpers.

I want the chrome look. I tried a small area with chrome/metal polish from Mothers. Parts turned out nice, but the dark areas kind of a blue-ish patina look stayed. The ring is not scratched or dented abd the surface is smooth.
I may try the "00" steel wool pad idea. Is there a product that removed the stains in the chrome?
Or just find a shop that re-chromes for a fair price.

Chrome shops are a dying breed, at least the old style Mom and Pop's that used to do that kind of repair. If any place will do it....probably Jersey, the ones next to a cemetery.....

You may be better off buying a replacement. Cost it out.....bet I'm right.

Just ordered the Bomb's Away polish, been meaning to get something......the Harley will like it and so will the Fuchs. Captain Richard's site has a deal on two botles delivered cheaper than the retailers. Hey, the old fat guy from Orange Coast Choppers can't be wrong, right?

I called a chrome plating shop in Md/DC area and they will rechrome for $50 per ring. Once I have them back, I plan to post photos.
