Anyone remember seeing the AC Hydraulic jacks go on sale?
Does anyone remember ever seeing the AC Hydraulic jacks that Pelican sells on sale?
They are amazing jacks. I saw one first when a Houston group of Pelicans from the 911 Tech board met for a drive and ended up at Robert Hendricks(sp) home, probably 20+ years ago. He had one, and I've wanted one since then. They are perfect for something like a 911 or boxster for engine drops or other work, super low profile (about 3 1/8" min height) with a max lift of nearly 30". ![]() I'd love to see them on sale and then pick one up.

I can't recall ever seeing them on sale. That's why I bought a Hein Werner. Maybe not as nice as the AC Hydraulic one, but it was about 1/3 the price (on sale), and it's made in America. Griot's sells one that's made in Spain, IIRC, but it's expensive like the AC Hydraulic one. The only other floor jack still made in America is Milwaukee Hydraulic (different than the power tool company).

I bought mine used, so check Craigslist, eBay, etc. They offer replacement parts and complete rebuild kits, so you can make it new again if needed.

Thanks folks. I think the only thing that I've seen if for the rubber pad to come free of charge.

I purchased one about 20 years ago or so. Great investment. I have only had to replace the rubber O rings on the wheels. Well worth it IMHO.

Yeah, the first time that I saw one (about 20 years ago), I thought "holy cow, this is amazing!" And I've wanted one since. I don't see anything else out there that's close.

You can apply the 10% PCA discount. Maybe not the "sale price" you were looking for, but better than a sharp poke in the eye.

And I'd be tickled pink to get 10% off. That would nearly pay for the shipping, or would pay for the sales tax. They've got a big sale on quick jacks, but I'm guessing that they already have the AC Hydraulic jacks priced as low as they can go. The only thing that I've even seen them do is throw in a rubber pad for free, which I think is a 4% value and better than nothing.
