Upholstery shop rec's in L.A. area
Hi all -
I just acquired a pair of Koenig race seats that need some work. I normally use Autos International for Porsche stuff but I don't want to ship these or spend major bux on them. Can anyone recommend a competent & reasonably priced upholstery shop in the L..A. basin somewhere? I'm in the Santa Monica area but I don't mind a bit of a drive. Cheers,

Chris,
Call Porfirio (call him Porfi). He has a shop next to C&r automotive Center. I lost his number at the moment but if you call C&R automotive, they would give you his number. (310) 538-8605. Porfi does Porsche. He did my 993 top and I am planning on using him for other things later. Price? you be the judge. Haven't used him yet, but I saw a lot of his work. Roman Upholstery is one I have used redoing the leather on my Supra. I thought he was the cheapest with great quality (my opinion). His number is 626 336-3964. Warning: when you call Roman Upholstery, do not mention you have a Porsche! Not affiliated with anyone nor do I endorse. |

Ditto on Porfi..
The good thing about Porfi is that he is mobile. But if you job needs to be perfect...Sorensons Top shop is the Best. they are in Pasadena. They are the ONLY shop that Porsche and Rolls Royce will give a recommendation to. Good luck..
