what kind of seat do I have and...

newbie....The electric controls dont work - any idea what the problem might be?? Thank you in advance

partial power comfort and likely the switches are bad. Sometimes you can clean the contacts but there is a good chance the parts will fly out everywhere when you take it apart.

Almost always crudded up contacts within the switch mechanism. Have brought quite a few "back-to-life" by running a strip of emery paper under the partially-hidden contacts.

Getting the switch out is a bit of a pain, especially if you care enough not to cut wires. A search here will show plenty....but in most cases its the contacts being a bit corroded or crudded is the core problem. Check easy stuff like fuses first.
