911 3.2 Carrera Page on Facebook

Hi all,

Trying to start up a sort of meeting point for 911 3.2 owners (past or present) on Facebook. Seems there are a lot of other 911 interest groups but none that I've found for 911 3.2's of note. I hope this is the right spot to post this.

I have a 1989 Grand Prix White 911 3.2 Coupe, all stock, with 61K miles.

It's open to everyone (regardless of cars). Meant to both promote and celebrate the 911 3.2 series. I'm an owner and enthusiast of a 3.2 that enjoys the "beauty" side as well as the "technical" side. I started the Facebook page because when I was buying my car I couldn't find a really solid collection of "3.2," for a lack of a better description, lighter material (photos, videos, etc). Maybe Porsche "3.2" porn is a good description For the technical part, without hesitation, I came here plus Rennlist, which have both been invaluable. So, hopefully, over time, the Facebook page will grow to be a good spot to admire the "3.2" then folks can head over here to learn how they work ...

You're right! However, Facebook does have a few more people using it then, sad to say, Pelican. I think something in the neighborhood, as of Dec 2011, 845 million users. Imagine all those people on here!

All kidding aside, the page is not to compete with Pelican. I needed some Pelican help to spread some Porsche 3.2 love on Facebook. Pelicans have responded. I've been on Pelican for a little while and find it extremely informative and the users great people.

So, in a nutshell, I'd like to see that '88 Carrera Cab of yours represented over there!

Everyone is welcome. It's just a fan page for Porsche's 911 3.2 series. Wanted to show some love for the "3.2" over there and knew Pelicans would respond positively! I appreciate the help already and look forward to promoting our passions.

I think that many of the public that really cares about 3.2 911's is here.....out of the 845 million FB users, most are wrapped up in their circle of friends and such. But, good luck.

Awesome Jeff, thanks! Please post pics. That's the goal. The page is really starting to grow. A lot of international "3.2" people on there. I think that's what's lost in the discussion of why there not here.
