color matched targa tops

I have seen the orange 911 with the bar and top painted, but I have been able to find any GP white cars. Does anyone have a picture of color coded cars. thanks!

That would only be a custom job.

There was a new poster recently that bought a car someone had painted the bar white and covered the top in white vinyl. Not awful but not beautiful either (he wanted to change it too so hopefully I'm not offending him).

The other one you are referring to has a painted hard-top.

Porsche only offered them in black with either the black or brushed stainless bars.

Maybe to help out, here's a couple pics that I quickly did in Photoshop. The color match is not perfect, but you can get the idea.

Green one would look good with a silver bar and color coded top.

Very good.

You can find a hard targa top from Sundial enterprises (on Ebay).

Porsche had them (hard targa tops) for 1 year.

I had my top covered about 15 years ors so ago in blue stayfast the same color and material Porsche uses for blue Cabriolet tops. I have better pics somewhere before the flare project was started. They show the top much better. I will see if I can dig them up.
