Awesome Model Builder in Europe built my car to scale
I just wanted to share these awesome pictures of my car. The model is 1/18th scale, and the details are amazing. Same color, same decals, details, custom parts, fire system inside, etc... I'm seriously impressed. A little pricey, but I will have this the rest of my life.
He even made it with the two decklids I race with.... Ducktail, and regular one..... Which one is the real car? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Can you elaborate on the "a little bit pricey"? This probably didn't come cheap.... Very nice.

Thanks JP-
I had him leave the class designations off since those change all the time.

Very nice,
Price seems reasonable given the amount of time and skill it would require.

Very cool. It's always fun to get models of the cars you own. The price is a little high compared to what I've spent in the past, but the quality sure looks to be there. How was it working with the guy in Europe? Did he do well communicating and sharing pictures with progress?

RKT here on the forums does this as well I think.
I believe that he did one for Seinfeld. Plavan, that model of your car is fantastic! |

Patrick was great to work with. He asked for pictures or other details that I just sent to him through Facebook. He would ask for pictures of fonts, paint code etc. (My car is actually an early 356 color) He would send me a teaser picture from time to time to let me know how it was going. Some of you must of contacted him. He shot me an email that over 5 people ordered from him. I cant wait to see your cars too.

I do these for clients, but it's a hobby these days not a business, and I like taking extended periods off! :-) Here's one I just finished for an RGruppe friend...... ![]() ![]() I'm moving to another state next month and I'm in the process of packing stuff up in boxes right now. It will be 2-3 months before I would be back at my desk for any new projects.
