Great buys at Dunkel's Show/Swap
Ok, for those of you who went today, what items did you purchase that you thought were really good buys?
Here's a few of mine: Brand new Coverlay. Black. $5 Pair of excellent condition '88 Coupe sunvisors: $25/pair (Mirrors were super clear and nearly untouched) Pair of brand new BF Goodrich 255/40/17 tires. Still with stickers on them. $20 each. Much better selection and prices than the usual Pomona. Clint Last edited by Elfer; 02-11-2002 at 03:53 AM.. |

i bought a fantastic 3 year old sparco racing suit from dan gurney's american eagle racing team for $100.
i am quite sure i would have paid upwards of $700 to buy a similar one at a retail outlet. i also picked up an AutoPower rollbar. |

I snagged a whale tail/deck lid for $250.
It has the factory rubber lip on it in great shape. I think it is the mid-80's Carrera style. The tail itself is a fiberglass unit where the tail and decklid are all one piece. It is black, so it matches my car and is a direct bolt on. It has several stress cracks, but for that price I aint complaining. I sold about $125 worth of stuff, so it was actually cheaper than that. |
