Hello -

Anyone know if there is a rollbar in production that would fit in a 1972 Targa? I've seen some in pictures posted here, but am wondering if those are custom made one offs.

I've used these guys for coupes....this one shows as OK for Targas since 74. Give em a call?

how tall are you? We just removed a DAS sport from a cabriolet since the bar places the driver too far forward. Well built but positioning had this 6 footer scrunched up in his car. If you are around 5'8" or less, call us- will give you a good deal on the unit we took out

Thanks Dave, but unfortunately I'm just a tick under 6 foot (5'11'').

we can build you one, but its not cheap going custom - figure on $900 . it will tie into the Targa shoulder harness mount pillar as well and be set back enough so you can move the seat full travel.

Anyone else want to buy the Das sport? good for either targa or cabriolet ;-)

I'm thinking about it and I'm about 5'8" but my car is a 1970 Targa. Would it still bolt in ??

The bumpers I bought from you worked great, nice fit and finish. I'm interested in the roll bar for a '78 Targa. How much are you looking for?

I'm 6ft and used the DAS rollbar in my cabriolet - Yep limits a little - but not what I would call uncomfortable. (Of course now I have one of TRE's IROC bars and it fits better and allows much more seat travel)
