Hankook R-S3?
 

I did a search and only found a comment or two, so. . . Anyone try the Hankook R-S3 at the track?

It is time to buy some new tires and I was set to get Bridgestone RE-11's but I just saw these on Tire Rack. I also heard through a reasonable source that Dunlap Sport Z-1's have been reformulated recently making it more an autocross tire than DE tire and that's why I am not considering it.

All experiences with the R-S3 are much appreciated.

I'm not running them, but a couple of my buddies are using them for DE and Auto crossing and they love them you cant beet them for the price. I will be getting a set as soon as I'm ready for tire's.

Excellent tire, If I were to run a street tire it'd be the RS-3's, XS's, and the secret tire that's a massive surprise is the Federal 595-RSR.

Any commentary on the RS-3 in the Wet?

fyi... waiting for my 255/40/17's (RS-3) which are on backorder but due out by end of this month.

Grassroots Motorsports did a recent test with them and they performed very well compared to the other notable hot tires- even the well loved Dunlop Star Spec
