That Crazy Porsche

Up here in Canada we have CBC broadcasting the Olympic events pretty much as they are occuring - Right now the mens luge is just starting. What's it to do with Porsche? An interesting side note is that one of the German competitors was having problems with his back and went to, you guessed it, Porsche to design his new sled. Apparently shrouded in mystery, not even his coaches are that familiar with it, and it has only been seen once or twice before.

Could this be the new '4th model' that is rumored ???

Porsche designs all kinds of stuff, no big secret there. Anything from hideously overpriced glasses to hideously overpriced mountain bikes to hideously overpriced sleds.

they also were very involved with the design and production of harley's V-Rod motor. seems that the harley engineers could not design a dependable overhead cam motor. porsche to the rescue. the discivery channel had a show on it, and from what i've read in motorcycle mags, harley down played and minimized the extent of porsches involvement in the documentry and advertising of the bike. go figure, harley is a proud bunch and could never prop another manufacture even if they could have not pulled it off without porsche

Well they were and seem to remain a design shop for the highest bidder. Currently that would be SUV buyers...
