had mine done recently

My leather seats had sewing that had split down both seat cushions. Had both bottoms removed, restitched and reinstalled for about $140. The owner suggested that I use leather softener several times before I brought the car in as the leather can shrink and make resewing very difficult if using the same holes.... which you want to do. Obviously this softens the leather to be restretched.

Just a tip.
