Removing coupe quarter windows
How do you removed fixed quarterwindows on an 86 coupe so that the trim and window are not damaged? I've cut front and rear glass out, but this technique doesn't seem applicable to these windows.

they push out.its easiest to start them in a corner or at the back. ive done it a couple times and pushed from the inside and held the window from the outside from falling out. some soap or window cleaner on the inside between the body and rubber might help too. id spray or soap and let it sit for a few to run into the seam. it seems hair while your pushing but they do move w/o window breakage

push with a flat open hand

i start by using about 4 small screwdrivers inserted around the back curve, behind the rubber, two on the top, two on the bottom, then pull them down near the glass and push them in behind the body seam to keep the rubber pulled away from the headliner. then push hard with your palm.

Rear/side quarter windows?.....front fixed-vent "quarter windows"...... ????

Thanks for all the replies, getting these out tomorrow.

First pull the rubber weatherstrip from the rivet...it along the door jam. In the inside just lift the seal so its between the glass and steel edge. Than push slowing from the rear curve side she will slowing come out. You do not need to remove the trim. If its original you will have the puddy body tape...so be easy you dont want to break the glass. The seal is also very expensive.
