Espn3

The Sebring race coverage is fantastic and a great maiden voyage for this digital broadcast. I love the Porsche aerial cam...speed-vision who?...

I thought the picture quality during qualifying was better then during the race. But I was happy to be able to watch the race.

I can't get ESPN3. I tried to register to watch it online. Went to the ESPN Website, had to indicate who my cable provider is (TimeWarner), then to the TW Website...TW had to send me an e-mail, had to enter a whole bunch of info including account number, create a user name, create a password (which was very restrictive), choose 2 "security questions", then I hit enter & received a message that they couldn't process my request right now. I was told to try again later. I hate TW. Need to switch to U-Verse. So now I plan to watch the recap this afternoon.

The thing about u-verse is that its not in all areas yet. They talked about it during the broadcast...if you cannot petition your current provider successfully I would switch. A host of good races coming...

I don't get it either...they use existing phone lines so the infrastructure is already there. Its the providers who are sleeping...

I watched it on Espn3 from my Xbox 360. That was a first. The Xbox has all sorts of sports playing on it under the special ESPN3 section. So just another excuse to go get an Xbox.

IMO, the ESPN3 commentators were light years better than the most of the ones that Speed Channel has used in the past.

Aside from the spec GTC class, Porsche was seriously outclassed. Maybe it's time for that dreaded (by the purists) 911 V-8 after all!

BTW, am I the only one who thinks there are too many classes in ALMS? I miss the old days of Prototypes, GTO and GTU...but then again, I am an old curmudgeon who misses the glory days of IMSA.
