Front Suspension Repair

Found this when I pulled the front suspension apart.

I put in polyurethane bushings in the suspension some 5 years back - about 50,000 kms. I knew they were tight when I installed them. I remember loading them up with the bushing grease wanting to be sure they would be well lubed. After about 3 years they started to squeak. Well, they squeaked so much last Summer it drove me nuts. Decision was to replace the darn things with Elephant Racing polybrozne and monoballs this winter.

You can see the spot welds on the bushing centering thingys tore out and the front T-bars were rubbing - carrying the weight of the car I guess. These are also now out of round. It was one of those holy $ h i t moments when I pulled it apart.

So - I have a little machine shop fun to tidy things up.

Let's just say I'm not a polyurethane fan.
