beru sk 210/3s - what is this?

Trying to figure out some of the wiring on my 70 911 - the SL35 wiring diagram I am looking at does not refer to this part.
Basically, a red wire comes from the upper fuse box (not currently hooked up) to this condenser looking thing attached to the underside of the speaker panel. A black wire from the condenser like thing then goes to a connector on the cigarette lighter....
What is it (radio Suppression?) and what fuse does it hook up to?
Thanks for any help.

Garage
I stumbled across this old thread because I also found one of these attached to the wiper motor, and I inadvertently broke off a lead. Doing some searching on the internet I was able to figure out that this is an RF Interference Condenser that suppresses the radio frequency noise that is generated by the electric motor. Chances are there may be a few more of these scattered around the car. I also found (in an Mercedes 190 forum) that as of 2002 that they were still available from Baru.

Beru Verkaufs-Gesellschaft
Ruprecht KG
714 Ludwigsburg, W. Germany

and their American representative:

Inter American Motor Corp
19354 Londelius St
Northridge, CA 91324

I doubt that this will do 1411506 any good, but if anyone happens to come up with the same question, now you'll know.

This thread can go back to sleep now....
