Cab top inspection - what to look for?
I'm going to go look at a cab top to use for a transplant for my targa - what do I need to be looking for to make sure it's compatible and complete?
Thanks!

Well, the trip turned out to be a bust - they didn't have the right top. I did take some pix of a couple of original cabs stripped down, so I have an idea now what things are supposed to look like. This really does look easy!

Thom that chassis must have been from a late car, after looking at the windshield frame, im wondering if you can change a late top to early by changing the the latch part, looking forward to your post on this, im converting my car sometime this summer, Kevin

The dark picure is of a C2 convertible - I just took the pic so I'd know what I wasn't looking for. Go back and look at the site again - I've annotated the pix now.
