I'm gonna do this over the weekend, but was unable to find a DIY. Any tips or is it just a straight though process?

Sirius Driver,

This is a simple and straight forward procedure. Loosen the three (3) fittings connected to the FA and have some rags or paper towels ready to absorb the dripping fuel. Take note of the location of the delivery line to the FA. On top of the FA, are two fittings: Input (side) and Output (center). And the bottom port is just the drain line. Use two (2) open wrenches (17 & 14 mm) to loosen the flare nuts.

BTW, if you don't mind me asking, is the FA confirmed defective? Or you simply want a new FA? If you are familiar how to test a fuel pump, I suggest you perform this test to check for fuel leak. Test and verify that the fittings don't leak fuel. HTH.

No not confirmed that its the FA. My car is simply having a hot start issue and since I replaced the check valve and I still have the issue I figured its gotta be the FA.

SiriusDriver,

It is most likely you'll fix your hot start problem by replacing CIS components one after the other. But what happens next if after replacing the FA, the problem still exists? Have you done any residual test to determine the culprit/s? Just curious. Keep us posted.

You're absolutely right. I'm gonna do this part too since I got a new FA for $200 so I cant go wrong. I hope this fixes my issue though, if not off to the mechanic she goes.
