Early car fender supports
Ok, I have a question about the fender supports on my 70T that attach the battery box to the headlight bucket. On the drivers side, the support bracket looks like this.
![]() The top part of the u shaped bracket bolts to a hole in the headlight bucket and stiffens the fender considerably. On the passenger side however..... ![]() ....there was no top part to the bracket to attach to the headlight bucket. What gives here? I noticed before dissembling the car that the pass fender seemed to deflect more when leaned on. So, which side has the correct arrangement for this year car? ![]()

I have two brackets like the one you have on your drivers side on my '73, should be the same.

Same as Mike on my 73--both brackets have a top and bottom attachment point.

Guess this means I need to find another bracket! I wonder what car the passenger bracket came off of? Does anyone have the proper bracket that they would like to part with?
